Aion Alert
Escape the Grind ( v 4.5 )
Aion Alert (AA) is a log parsing program. After enabling the Aion log file, AA will continuously (ever ½ second) monitor the log for selected events.
When an event occurs, AA will optionally: Play a sound, Send an email (or cell text) alert, Send a screenshot of the event. All of AA’s features are optional, use only the ones needed.
AA also allows you to send commands to it, to Aion, and to whatever bot you may be running at the time.
And AA features AAServer, a Telnet server that allows for real time communications with Aion via a Telnet connection.
FEATURES: ALL FEATURES ARE OPTIONAL!
• AA will monitor your log file and alert, screenshot, and/or shutdown all programs on any of the following conditions:
o Receive a whisper
o Inventory is full
o Death, with name of enemy player if PK’d
o Receive Game mail
o Level up
o User specified alert
o Character Inactive
o Aion Inactive
• AA can play a sound upon any selected alert
• AA can shutdown Aion after X min with no exp gain or after X deaths.
• AA can make sure Aion stays the active window
• AA can send emails (and via email, cell phone texts)
• AA will monitor an email address, every 15 seconds, for incoming commands including:
o Commands to Aion
o Commands to Bot
o Screenshot commands
o Quit commands for Aion, Bot, Telnet, or all
o Command for status report
• AA can launch AAServer, a telnet server allowing almost real time interaction with Aion.
• AA supports receipt of notifications from other applications.
• AA can keep track of exp gained, exp/hr rate, kinah gained, AP gained, deaths, PK, and number of each monster killed.
New in 4.0
- Status report reformatted for clarity
- Status report now includes exp/hr
- Status report now includes how many of what you have killed for how much exp.
New in 4.1
- Added pipeline for external alerts. This will allow other programs
to send information to AA which will then deliver it if you so choose. Currently no programs send information to Aion Alert, this is in place for others (I.E. bot makers, etc) to use.
Version 4.2 - Keeping you out of trouble
- Added shutdown feature to occur after X min with no experience gain
- Added shutdown feature to occur after X deaths.
- Added button to give local Status report (vice emailed).
- Changed default settings box for word EXP from " EXP" to " EXP from ". Failure to make this change in your version will not harm anything, just make your report look unusual. (Done to support foreign language logs)
Vwrsion 4.3
- Added support for * seperated numbers (i.e. 25*734 exp)
- Status report tracks AP Gained.
- Added notification if killed by enemy.
- Changed AA to save fields when start/stop pressed (previously only when start pressed).
- Fixed a possible bug that would let Full Inventory message be sent more than once.
Version 4.4
- Added checkbox that if unchecked will ignore subject line in incoming emails
- Changed the user notification field to a list. Add all you want.
- Fixed email crash when email found with no subject line or email with no message body.
- Added field to change title of Aion Alert to something common, defaults to "Untitled - Notepad"
Version 4.5
- Fixed logic problem with email subject line scanning. Tested emails with and without subject lines, works per docs now.
AAServer Updates
1.1
- Added ip address textbox for those who need to specify ip address
- Changed startup to fill in up address if not previously set.
1.2
- Added listbox to hold filter words. Any logfile line containing a filtered line will not be sent.

I keep getting that DEVMODE on my aion screen when ingame. I had to press Pausebreak button to remove it. And after awhile, it pops out again. The reason might be because of that system.ovr file.
my issue was with the pausebreak opening devmode, even when AA was off it was still happening, just deleted the system file and repaired. I also had a problem getting AA to mail me a screenshot, do you know what might have caused this?
I was receiving emails fine of updates but no screenshot came along with it. Also my bot wasnt answering my "ai" emails - any help would be great!

Thanks shadow, gonna test out 4.2 tonight, very nice changes so far, I'd like to make one suggestion. either a checkbox to "allow any email address to send commands", or a second field for "additional address AA trusts for commands". Practical use for this: I have AA set up to txt me on my phone with alerts and i can send commands from the phone, however when i'm at work I cannot access my phone, but i can get to personal email. If a second account was trusted I could send screen and status commands. This would also take care of the fact that SMS doesnt accept emailed images (no screenies).
You can have more than one address in the To line. So just set it up to monitor the main email you would use to send command,s then use the to line to send to as many as you want.
Let me know if it bounces hard (ie crashes) due to the sms not taking an attachment, but it shouldnt since it send stuff to gmail (or wherever your SMTP is) and then that sends to each of the to addresses.
I think im going to have to do a little exception handling (i hate coding for that) because rarely my AA crashes due to gmail timing out (comes back with an Unknown server response)
i have it set up to my hosted emial, i'll give it a shot when i can, how do you have it set to seperate email? comma apostrophe? SMS not taking attachments hasnt caused any issues, just the phone wont accept them. I'll try teh second email once you reply back with the seperator
