Aion Infinity d3dx9_38.dll Crash on Startup

Hey Guys!

I`m experience a strange issue:

If I start the retail game without the d3dx9_38.dll in my bin folder the game starts normally, but if I put the d3dx9_38.dll in the folder the game shows up the ncsoft logo for one moment, then the game crashes ):

Also the same prob with Aion Infinity Launcher.
I start it. Then the Logo appears. Then Crash! But only if the d3dx9_38.dll is in the folder... otherwise the game runs perfectly, unfortunately i can`t play on aion infinite server woithou d3dx9_38.dll ):

I got newest aion version 1.5.1.10 and everything is configurated correctly.

Just the d3dx9_38.dll seems to make problems for me...

Is it possible, that it is caused by my Windows folder. Cause it is not named windows, but windoof...

I have got exactly the same problem...

After some time of googleing i thought that it could depend on the directx
=> So i have installed the newest version but in fact again the game crashes...

Hi,

I have the same prob.

The d3dx9_38.dll is the no_ip hack from fryyre.
If I understand it right its a kind of proxy to modify the IP so the client will connect.

If d3dx9_38.dll is present in bin32 my client crashes, without its running perfect.

In my opinion it has nothing to do with directx or any graphic issue or a windows or system problem, because I have the same thing on a totaly different computer with a different GC.

I´ve tried everything I can think of (several reinstall, reg cleaning, directx and so on) but no solution until now.

Btw its not a launcher problem, I´ve tried several launcher including the original

I'm also having this kind of problem. I can't connect to any private servers using d3dx9_38.dll. The client immediately closes after NCSoft logo appears. The client runs perfectly without the d3dx9_38.dll (no ip check) but for retail servers only.

I would appreciate any help from you guys. thanks!

I have the EXACT same problem

CryEngine Error

CRITICAL ERROR: Error loading DLL: XRenderD3D9.dll

Hm I dont think you have the same problem.
In your case it really seems to be a directx or other graphic issue.

This is what my errorlog shows:

Read from location 00000000 caused an access violation.

BTW the xrenderd3d9.dll should be in the bin32 folder of Aion, some people say it should help to put it also in \system32, but it wont help in my case of crash

OK here´s the solution:

The no_ip dll has a fix path to C:\Windows\System32

So if you DONT have a folder called Windows but your windows folder has a different name(like WINXP or WINNT or WINBAD ;-) ) the client will crash.

What to do: Create a Windows folder on C:\ and copy the System32 folder located in your real Windows folder to the fake folder. If it wont copy everything and stops with an error, dont worry, it works.

Just tested to make it easier:

If you don´t have a Windows system folder called Windows

no_ip d3dx9_38 needs the original D3DX9_38.dll in C:\Windows\system32 and nothing more :-)

So just make a fake Windows\system32 and copy D3DX9_38.dll from original system32 to fake system32

I have different problem.

Im also having just like their problem, but i have already extracted the
d3dx9_38.dll is the no_ip hack from fryyre in my \bin32.

But when i click the Infinite Aion Launcher, an error appeared and says this program is unvailable in your country.

What should i do ?
