The development of the Grepolis 2 bot has ended. It has been a fun project but it is time to move on. The source code is now available on GitHub so other developers can continue my work.

This is a bot for the browser game Grepolis, version 2 only!

Quick start guide
-Check the requirements.
-Open the bot and go to the Settings tab.
-Update the settings and press OK.
-Go back to the Player tab and press Login.
-Done!
You can change your building- and army queue at the Queue tab. (Don't forget to press save)
Donator status
Everyone who donates 5€ or more receives an unlock file which enables the extra features. You can donate using the paypal button on my. After paypal is done processing your donating I’ll send the unlock file and instructions on how to use it.
Paypal supports a few different payment methods:
-Directly with your paypal balance (Processing is instant).
-Using your bank account (Processing takes 3-5 days).
-Using an eCheck (Processing takes 7-9 days).
The following features will be enabled after donating:
-Attack warnings by mail (gmail recommended)
-Automatic cultural festivals
-Automatic trading (between your own towns)
-Automatic send silver to cave
-Incoming attack sound warning
Browser fix
In the bot directory you see a file called Enable_IE9.reg. Simply double click on it to enable IE 9 (or newer) for the bot which will greatly improve the performance.
If you don't have IE 9 installed the bot will use the latest version installed on your pc.
Detailed guide
Login Settings
The following four settings need to be changed in order to login: "User Name", "Password", "Main Server" and "Server".
If you open your browser and look at the address bar you can find your server settings. In the picture above your "Main server" would be "en.grepolis.com" and "Server" would be "en18.grepolis.com".
Login
-Make sure your login settings are correct.
-Press Login.
-Done
Priority of towns
A town with priority 1 is given the highest priority.
With the priority the bot chooses how often a town is updated. A town with priority 1 is updated every time and a town with priority 2 is updated once every 2 cycles, etc.
Building Queue
Don't forget to press save afterwards for each town.
At the Queue tab you'll see a building queue for a single town. You can use the "Prev." and "Next" buttons to switch between towns.
With the checkbox called "Building Queue" you can turn the queue on/off.
With the checkbox called "Building Target" you can switch between building queue modes (explained below).
Mode 1: Target enabled
When you are using this mode you will have to enter the target level for each building. The bot will then choose for you which one it will upgrade first.
Mode 2: Target disabled
With this mode you can choose the order of the buildings yourself. Simply click on the '+'-sign to add it to the queue. Double click on an item in the queue to remove it.
Mode 3: Target enabled (advanced)
This mode is an advanced version of Mode 1. In the settings tab there is a setting called "Advanced Queue", enable this. You also need to enable the target mode. Now the bot will first finish all the buildings in the non-target queue and after that it will continue with the target queue.
Downgrading buildings
Downgrading buildings is supported when using “Mode 2″ or “Mode 3″ and can be enabled at the Queue tab with the setting “Building Downgrade”. The upgrading of buildings has a higher priority than downgrading.
With the default settings the building/unit queue is checked every 20 minutes. If you go to the first tab you see a few timers, when both the "Next Update" and "Queue" timer have reached zero the bot will check the queue. When the bot can make a building the unit queue will be skipped.
Unit Queue
At the Queue tab you’ll see an overview of your units with the preferred target amount. To enable the unit queue you need to enable the checkbox called "Unit Queue".
With the default settings the building/unit queue is checked every 20 minutes. If you go to the first tab you see a few timers, when both the "Next Update" and "Queue" timer have reached zero the bot will check the queue. When the bot can make a building the unit queue will be skipped.
Templates
At the Queue tab you’ll see a list of templates. With the templates you can save/load your preferred target amount for buildings and units.
Militia
At the Queue tab you’ll the militia icon. Here you can choose when you want to activate the militia. The value is the number of minutes before an attack. Setting this to 0 will disable the militia.
Spells / God Powers
Finally you see at the Queue tab spell icons. If you enable those icons the bot will only add units to the queue when the spells are active. The bot will also auto-cast the spells when needed.
Farmers
Don't forget to press save afterwards for each town.
At the Farmers tab you can select which farmers you want to loot. There are also a few settings you can change:
Enabled
This enables/disables the looting of farmers.
[B]Friendly demands only"
If you disable this checkbox you get 2x more resources but it will decrease the mood of the farmer. If you enable the checkbox you get the normal amount of resources and the mood of the farmer will not decrease.
Min. Mood
You can choose when the bot should attack the farmers. If the mood of a farmer drops below this value the bot will use friendly demands only.
Loot Interval
You can choose the interval of the attacks. Those intervals are the same as ingame. Thus you can choose between 5, 20, 120 and 300. If you have the academic research you can choose also between 10, 40, 240 and 600.
It’s recommend to use 5 or 10, those will give you the most resources if you run the bot for a long time.
Max. Resources
The bot will stop farming for your current town when this amount is reached.
Scheduler
With the scheduler you can specify when you want to farm. The scheduler has 24 blocks, one for each hour. You can click on them to turn farming on/off.
Culture
Don't forget to press save afterwards for each town.
This feature is only available for donators who donated 5 euro or more. You can find this feature at the tab called “Culture”. With the checkbox in the left-top corner you can disabled/enable the automatic festivals for a town. With the checkboxes below each image you can disable/enable that specific cultural festival.
E-Mail
Don’t forget to press OK afterwards to save your settings.
This feature is only available for donators who donated 5 euro or more. You can enable this feature at the tab called “Settings”.
-Email: The email address that should receive the warnings
-Notify By Mail: Enabled this when you want to receive warnings
-User Name: Your gmail account
-Password: Your gmail password
-Server: The mail server (gmail)
-Port: Default port (gmail)
Advanced users could use any other encrypted mail server if they want but I recommend to use gmail.
Trade
Don’t forget to press Save afterwards to save your settings.
This feature is only available for donators who donated 5 euro or more.
With this feature the bot can automatic transfer resources between your towns. When sending resources it will send them from the nearest available town.
-Enabled: Turn the trading feature on or off.
-Mode: Sets if the current town should receive resources or send them.
-Min. Resources: (Mode send only) The minimum amount of resources you want to keep in your warehouse.
-Max. Resources (%): (Mode receive only) The maximum amount of resources you want to receive in your warehouse.
-Min. capacity to use: (Mode send only): The minimum amount of resources you want to send each time.
“Receiver”
In this mode a town can only receive resources. The other towns will keep sending resources to this town until your warehouse is full enough.
The setting “Max. Resources” defines when your warehouse is full enough. The value of this setting can be between 1-100%.
“Sender”
In this mode a town can only send resources. It will send the resources to the nearest town first. Also it will first send the resource that is needed the most.
With the setting “Min. Resources” you can choose how many resources you want to keep in your own warehouse. You could for example choose 18000. Then you will always have enough resources for the cultural festivals.
With the setting “Min. capacity to use” you can set the minimum amount of resources you want to send to an other town. This setting should always be higher then 100.
"Spy cave"
In this mode a town sends his resources to the spy cave. Just like towns in the "Sender" mode it uses the setting "Min. capacity to use". This setting specifies the minimum amount of resources you send to the spy cave. With the setting "Min. Resources" you can specify how many resources should remain in your warehouse. If you don’t have enough silver the trade mode will temporarily be switched to "Receiver".
Captcha Solver
If your useragent contains MSIE 7.0, like in the screenshot below. You first need to run the "Enable_IE9.reg" or "Enable_IE10.reg" file. Otherwise the bot will not be able to detect the captcha message.
