Everquest f2p version released

Yes, its TRUE! The guys at Sony Online Entertainment announced that one of they're best games "Everquest 2" goes free to play!

Not so long ago Sony Online Entertainment announced about they're new game version, Everquest 2: Extended. The game will have separate servers from the original EQ2 game and some limitations. Free game's "Bronze" package will include base game, 5 expansion packs and three adventure packs, also players will only be able to play with four races and eight classes aditional content will have to be purchesed, like in Dungeons and dragons online.

The open beta of EQ2: Extended begins at August 17 2010.
The EQ2: Extended cash shop will sell powerful gear, but not the best gear in the game, that can only be obtained by actualy playing the game.

Check the picture below to see the prices of packages, i think its fair to say that EQ2 has gone free to play.

Such a scam. They limit everything on the bronze and free package. I think its fair to say that its not free to play.
